Φεστιβάλ "Στη Σκιά των Βράχων"

In 1987, the Vyronas Municipality Rock Festival “In the Shadow of the Rocks” began, which was established as an institution in 1989. Since then, much has changed. However, what remains the same is the love for culture and the passion and dedication of those who work for the Festival, for quality events.

The Vyronas Municipality Rock Theaters “Anna Synodinou” and “Melina Mercouri”, trademarks of the Vyronas Municipality, add color to the summer nights of the entire Attica. Through the Festival, we communicate, have fun, defend and promote culture.

The Byron Festival "In the Shadow of the Rocks" was organized by the Cultural Center of the Municipality until 2011.

In 2011, the Municipalities of Byron and Daphne-Ymittos proceeded, based on the provisions of "Kallikratis", to establish an Inter-Municipal Culture Network, with the aim of organizing a single Festival. The new Inter-Municipal Network undertakes the management of the Rock Theaters and the organization of the now unified Festival "In the Shadow of the Rocks". Due to the time-consuming procedures for establishing the Network, the now inter-municipal Festival opens its doors for the first time in the summer of 2012.
