The Municipality follows the provisions of European and national legislation on the management of cookies (Directive 2002/58/EC and Law 3471/2006):

recognizing the cookies present on the main website of the Municipality or on third-party websites for the operation of which the Municipality is responsible. The Municipality always refers to the operating website and the partner who operates the website, in order to investigate the existence and installation of cookies and their feasibility.

informing website users about cookies, their categories, the purpose and duration of their retention, and how to delete them through a Cookie Management Policy posted in an easily accessible part of the website and which is displayed to the user before they start browsing the website,

exploring the possibility for cookies that are not necessary for the operation of the website for the user to give their consent before their installation and then, introducing a tool or mechanism for recording consent with information such as date and time and an identification element, which will also allow the user to withdraw their consent, updating the points of the policy that need changes and informing the user about the policy update.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small files that are installed on the computer or other device when a user visits a website. They are used to operate the website you are visiting as well as to provide additional functionality (such as user identification, remembering preferences).

Why are cookies used on websites

The website places cookies for the following functions:
